Some BOM updates

A slow week for sewing since I had many evening commitments and a trip to Sydney called at short notice. I did manage to "complete" the second block of Funky Feathers.....well the birds are still eyeless and I have yet to decide if I will add the animals that sit at the bottom of the urn.

The other project I'm working on, Sue Spargo's BOM, is still giving me great pleasure. Here is Block 5 ready for embellishing.

At this time of the year I start to think about what I would like to finish by the end of the year. This year although my list may be long, I think I will end up with a big fat zero! Oh well the best apart about plans is that they can easily be changed. Maybe my finish list for next year will be LONG.

Have a great week,

Ciao,

Deb

Who needs finishes when you're working on such glorious projects? That's what's important, right? Beautiful blocks. I wanted to do both but restrained myself since I knew I wouldn't do them in the end. lol!

Your projects are looking lovely and if you're enjoying the process it is enough. To continued enjoyment!

I have fallen too far behind to even think about finishing things :) Instead, I am determined to enjoy the process. I have been working on this same Sue Spargo block!

I LOVE all your work! Don't worry, your BOM's will get finished....one day. I just finished quilts from '04 and '08, so have faith! (However, they do need quilting, but I only count quilt tops at this point! lol!
Enjoy the process of designing and quilting!

It's all about the stitching pleasure and you have such wonderful things on the go. At this time of the year, I'm already planning for the next 12 months, of course I'd love some finishes but I get caught up in new things too.

I just came from three days with Sue, so I'm fired up to tackle the rest of my blocks, too. Next year's BOM will be arriving way too soon.
